中医院校医药类本科生评判思维态度倾向性现况调查
Current Survey on Attitude Tendency of Critical Thinking of Medical Undergraduates in TCM Universities
摘要
Abstract
To investigate the current attitude tendency of critical thinking among medical undergraduates in TCM universities and to provide evidence and basis for their further enhancement of critical thinking. Methods: Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory of Chinese Version (CTDI-CV) was applied to investigate the current status of critical thinking among TCM undergraduates. Results: In TCM academies, medical undergraduates' overall critical thinking competence scored for 234.70 ± 34.99, which reached the medium level of critical thinking competence. All these seven factors in the scale were presented as medium level. Moreover, compared with freshmen and sophomore, the senior students had a higher score in aggregate score of critical thinking, analytical ability, systematic ability and cognitive maturity (P ＜ 0.05). Undergraduates majored in medicine had a lower score than those majored in pharmacy in the aspects of analytical ability and systematic ability ( P ＜ 0.05), but they had a higher score in truth seeking (P ＜ 0.05 ). The differences among other factors had no significance in statistics ( P ＞ 0.05 ). Additionally, after the comparison between the full-time undergraduates and the undergraduate from junior colleges for further schooling, their differences in aggregate score of CTDT-CV, truth seeking, open mind and analytical ability had significances in statistics (P ＜ 0.05 ), while other factors didnl have. Conclusion: The critical thinking of the medical undergraduates in TCM universities is presented as medium level, and hence great importance should be attached to cultivating their ability of critical thinking.关键词
