Properties of aluminum alloy joint welded by thermal compensation resistance spot welding
摘要
Abstract
Aluminum alloy A5052 sheets were welded using a technique of thermal compensation resistance spot welding. The effects of welding parameters on the tensile shear strength of joint and nugget diameter were investigated. The tensile shear load and nugget of the joint increased with the increasing of welding time, whereas that of the joint decreased with the increasing of electrode force.The joint with the maximum tensile shear load of 5.5 kN was obtained at the condition of 12 kA welding current. The joints with high tensile shear strength were obtained under relatively low welding current.The results reveal that welding aluminum alloy is feasible via a thermal compensation resistance spot welding method.关键词
