Abstract
Media gateway control protocol is an important protocol in the evolution of next generation network; also, it's the control protocol between soft switching equipment and the media gateway. With the research and practice on the Key technologies in next generation network, the paper analyses the model, structure and implementation of the media gateway control protocol, from the system level, in-depth. And analyzed and summarized problems in the application of the protocol. As one of the mainstream protocol of the Soft-switch technology, H.248 protocol will play an active and important role in next generation network.关键词
