沉淀法白炭黑的表面改性及其性能研究
Study on Precipitated SiO2 Surfactant Modified and Its Properties

Abstract
Precipitated SiO2 was prepared by chemical precipitation and spray drying method using sodium silicate and sulfuric acid as starting materials. Two different organic surfactants, polyethylene glycol(PEG-6000) and butanol were added separately into the precursors in order to modify the surface property of the precipitated SiO2. The structure, morphology and property of both non-modifiod and modified precipitated SiO2 were characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy,scanning electron microscopy, laser diffraction size analysis, and Fourier transform infrared analysis. The influence of surfactants on the dispersion of the precipitated SiO2 was emphatically investigated. The results showed that the dispersion of modified precipitated SiO2 is significantly improved. The size of primary particles is about 20 nm, and the size of spray-dried particles is 10-40 μm. Timethylsilyl groups (Si-CH) are generated on the surface of modified precipitated SiO2, meanwhile the hydroxyl groups ( SiOH) are reduced, increasing the hydrophobicity of the precipitated SiO2. The oil absorbed value (DBP)increase from 2.1 mL · g-1 to 3.1 mL · g-1. The modification enhance the dispersion of the precipitated SiO2, resulting in the reduction of WK-factor from 3.67 to 2.66.关键词
