Abstract
An accurate, objective scoring system for severity and prognosis of liver disease is highly important for clinical management of patients with cirrhosis.The model for end-stage liver disease (MELD) score is a prospectively developed and validated scale for the severity of end-stage liver disease.Some new MELD-based prognostic models have been proposed in recent years.Incorporation of additional parameters, such as serum sodium level may further improve its prognostic accuracy.This article reviews the research state of prognostic models of end-stage liver disease.关键词
