Abstract
Objective Discussion the clinical features of pneumonia in the elderly, improve the lever of diagnosis and treatment of pneumonia in the elderly. Methods Collected 213 cases clinical data of elderly patients with pneumonia in our department nearly two years, summary and analysis the clinical features, treatment and prognosis. Results 63％ of 213 cases combined with underlying diseases, loss of appetite, vomiting, tired heart, such as air tight may be the main performance, all patients were given antibiotic treatment, while giving the oxygen, expectorant, support and symptomatic treatment. The average time in hospital was 9. 8 days, cured 98 cases (46％), improved 115 cases (54％). Conclusion Elderly pneumonia is often associated with variety underlying diseases, clinical symptoms are not typical, So it easily be missed or misdiagnosed. The pathogens is gram - negative bacteria mostly, so the elderly pneumonia should be especially vigilant, diagnosed timely and select sensitive antibiotics to treat it.关键词
