摘要

Abstract

The method of ultrasonic tests was employed to investigate the crack depths in circular reinforced concrete specimens and poles. The relevant formulas for the depths of longitudinal and circular cracks were derived. The test results of the crack depths of the circular reinforced concrete specimens and poles show that the proposed method has high accuracy. As for the circular crack, the influences of the adjacent bars on the measured results can be avoided by obliquely setting two transducers across the crack.
