摘要

Abstract

At present, there still is a lack of a complete and mature method to determine the maximum dry density in relative density tests on filling and rolling of gravel materials. Based on rolling tests on gravel materials of Pangduo Hydraulic Project, the compacted dry density of the gravel materials after 20 times of rolling and strong vibration by use of a 20-tonnage vibratory roller was regarded as the maximum dry density. The relation curves for the maximum dry density, the minimum dry density and the mass fraction of gravel rnaterials were derived by means of the mathematical analysis software. The quality control curve for the field rolling of gravel materials was finally determined according to the control indices for the relative density.
