Abstract
The crystal properties of high impact polypropylene (HIPP) were analyzed by wide angle X-ray diffraction and differential scanning calorimetry. The spherulite growing process was observed by polarized light microscopy, and mechanical properties were analyzed. The results show that:with the addition of α-nucleating agent, the crystallization rate of PP increases, the crystal size becomes smaller, and the degree of crystallinity increases, and the crystallization temperature and melting temperature significantly improves. The flexural strength and modulus increase significantly by adding small amount of α-nucleating agent, while tensile strength and notched impact strength increase slightly.关键词
