摘要

Abstract

An earth-rock fill dam with asphaltic concrete core is located in an area of the subtropical continental climate with high temperature and drought in summer, severe cold in winter and large temperature difference between day and night. In order to overcome the local unfavorable environmental factors, an outdoor experiment on the compaction of the asphaltic concrete is made in accordance with the indoor test data concerned; from which not only the technical indexes for the actual construction are determined, but the feasibility of the mixing ratio of the concrete is also examined, so as to ensure the construction quality and construction progress.
