摘要

Abstract

Large number of apertures and slots are usually inevitably presented in actual enclosure of electronic equipment due to heat dissipation purpose. However, the penetration of electromag netic energy leaking though apertures, especially slots, will compromise the shielding perform ance remarkably. Then, a metallic rectangular enclosure with slots was studied, and the influ ence of polarization mode and angles of incidence plane wave, parameters of slots such as length,quantity, location, space and orientation on the shielding performance of the enclosure were in vestigated by the transmission-line matrix method(TLM). Finally, the main factors determining the shielding performance of the enclosure were proposed. The polarization mode of plane wave,length and orientation of slots has significant influence on the shielding effectiveness and reso nance points of the enclosure. The electric field orientation of incidence wave should avoid being vertical with longer sides of slots, and slots shouldn't be lengthy in structure shielding design.
