摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the changes of levels of serum high mobility group box 1 ( HMGB1 ) and D-dimer in patients with acute cerebral infarction( ACI)and to explore its relationship with the volume of cerebral infarction. Methods The levels of serum HMGB1 and D-dimer in 90 patients with ACI( ACI group) and 82 healthy controls( control group) were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The ACI group was further divided into large size infarction group ( ≥ 10 cm3 ,n =20), moderate size infarction group(5 ～ 10 cm3 ,n =40) and small size infarction group( ≤5 cm3 ,n =30). The contents of serum HMGB1 and D-dimer in the patients with different infarction size were compared. Results The levels of serum HMGB1 and D-dimer in ACI group were(5.67 + 1.17)μg/L and( 1.60 + 0. 59 )mg/L respectively, but in control group they were (1.82 ±0. 46)μg/L and(O. 25 ± O. 21 )mg/L respectively, and there were significant differences between the two groups (P ＜ O. O1 ). The levels of serum HMGB1 and D-dimer in the patients with large size infarction were significantly higher than those in the patients with moderate size or small infarction ,and both levels of serum HMGB1 and D-dimer in the patients with moderate size infarction were significantly higher than those in the patients with small infarction(P ＜0.01 ). The level of serum HMGBI was positively related to the level of D-dimer( r = 0. 813 ,P ＜ O. O1 ). Conclusion Measuring the levels of serum HMGB1 and D-dimer may contribute to early diagnosis of cerebral infarction and prediction of cerebral infarction volume.关键词
