Abstract
Objective:To analyze the main factors for prevention of anastomotic leakage in the lower Dixon operation. Methods: Procedure and experience of 146 cases of lower anterior resection operation with no anastomotic leakage were summarized and analyzed. Operative procedure complied with TME. Superior rectal artery was double ligated at the superior extremity. Mesorectum at the anastomosis site must be shaved and the stoma should be placed below the pelvic peritoneum. Drain were placed at pelvic kidney through perinei in all cases and anal canal were placed when the stoma was 3 cm lower from anal border. Results:There was no stoma leakage in the 146 continuous cases. Postoperative complications included 2 with infiltrate blood at stoma, 3 with stoma constriction,48 with frequent bowels from 4 to 6 daily, 34 with anus irritation, 6 with weak control ability for loosestools. Conclusion:Well blood supply, free tension, accurate anastomosis and the active treatment of accompanied diseases were important for preventing anastomotic leakage in lower Dixon operation.关键词
