煤矿井下随钻测量定向钻进用PDC钻头的研制
Development of PDC drill bits for MWD directional drilling in underground coal mine well

Abstract
High quality polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) drill bits are necessary to perform measurement-while-drilling (MWD) directional drilling for underground coal mine well. Lntensive analyses were carried out herein from the stuctural parameters to the type selection of cutting teeth of PDC drill bits. φ96mm matrix-style PDC drill bit for directional drilling was developed and followed by field tests. One main hole and four branch holes were drilled. The average drilling speed was 4.12 m per hour and the total drilling footage was 1 001.6 m. The experimental results indicate that the deflecting effect as well as the service life of the developed drill bit can completely satisfy the application requirements.关键词
