摘要

Abstract

Firstly, the various types of ramp models in the third ring-road of Beijing Expressway were presented based on METANET model. Then, the third ring-road traffic network was established in the Paramics microscopic traffic simulation software. Finally, the optimal control objective was proposed. In the optimization method, the ramp metering time was real-encoded by using the genetic algorithm to optimize the whole control objectives. The result of simulation indicates that the algorithm improves the conditions of the ring road network traffic and increases the traffic speed and road utilization.
