Trial of Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire in Medical Workers

Abstract
Objective: To study the psychometric characteristics of the Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire(TEIQue)in medical workers. Methods: The medical workers in Beijing were recruited using a random sampling method. 765 medical workers were measured by the TEIQue. Results: The TEIQue presented a unique dimensional structure in medical workers. Internal consistency reliability was 0.94, retest reliability was 0.89. GFI, AGFI, NNFI, and CFI of confirmatory factor analysis were 0.92, 0.88, 0.97, and 0.98. RMSEA was 0.072. There were many differences in emotional intelligence between medical workers with different ages or different positions. Conclusion: The TEIQue is a feasible,available, effective tool to Beijing medical workers.关键词
