Relationships Between Help-seeking Expression,Partners' Support Coping and Marital Satisfaction Among Chinese Urban Newlyweds

Abstract
Objective: To explore whether help-seeking expression influences couples' marital satisfaction through partners' support coping among Chinese urban newly-weds.Methods: 88 urban newly-weds were recruited to complete a questionnaire including scales of help-seeking expression, partners' support coping and marital satisfaction.Results:Wives' help-seeking expression was significantly higher than husbands'.Husbands and wives' support coping towards partners were significantly related.Help-seeking expression could positively predict the couples' marital satisfaction total-ly through partners' support coping.Conclusion: Partners' support coping is a mediator between help-seeking expression and couples' marital satisfaction among Chinese urban newly-weds.关键词
