Mental Health of Family Members of Patients with Schizophrenia Ⅱ:The Burden of Care Factors
摘要
Abstract
Objective: To investigate the burden of care of family members of patients with schizophrenia and its influencing factors. Methods: 464 family members of schizophrenic patients from inpatient and outpatient departments of a psychiatric hospital inpatient in Shenzhen, were collected into groups that met certain standards of family members of schizophrenic patients from the level of family function, social support, coping style, and other aspects, and analyzed with multiple regression. Results: ①The patients' parents, and spouses often experienced a higher level of care burden; ②The level of family functioning, the number of patients relapse, and the relationship between the patient could explain 33.5％ of the variance of the burden to take care. Conclusion: ①The parents and spouses of schizophrenic patients often experience higher levels of care burden; ②In Eastern social and cultural background, level of family functioning for families of patients experienced significant effect on the size of the burden of care.关键词
