Application of XML in Bioinformatics
摘要
Abstract
[Objective] The study aimed to clarify the important position and role of XML in research of bioinformatics. [Method] By clarifying the basic principle of XML in detail,XML was compared and analyzed with other languages systematically such as HTML,BSML,BioML and so on in order to elucidate the importance of XML in bioinformatics as a data language. [Result] XML is an emerging standard for structuring documents,and it plays a viral role in data exchanging among bioinformatics databases. [Conclusion] XML is the most effective markup language of biological data management in bioinformatics.关键词
