Preliminary Study on Using Water Hammer to Clear Physical Particles in Micro-pressure Micropipe Emitter

摘要

Abstract

Water hammer can be used to clear physical particles in micro-pressure micropipe emitter based on self-made device. The results showed that clogging particles can be removed by water hammer pressure which generated from a sudden open and close of the tail valve at the end of the lateral tube. The change of water hammer pressure in the lateral tube is deduced from a series of math formulas and self-edit fortran program. On the basis of the detail analysis about the cause of particle clogging, a better solution was proposed that the water hammer pressure can be used to clear the clogging.
