Dynamic responses of sandwich plates with aluminum honeycomb cores subjected to blast loading
摘要
Abstract
A large number of experiments were conducted, and the experimental results were reported and discussed. The quantitative results were obtained based on the measurement in the tests by a ballistic pendulum with corresponding sensors, and then the deformation/failure modes of specimens were classified and analyzed systematically. According to the experimental results, a parametric study was carried out, in which the effect of face-sheet and core configurations, such as face-sheet thickness, cell size and foil thickness of the honeycomb, and mass of charge, on the structural response were investigated. Good agreement between the experimental results and theoretical analysis indicates that the proposed method is a powerful approximation method for the dynamic plasticity analysis of a sandwich structure.关键词
