Abstract
Xiangtan Ash Dam has been running for more than ten years, the dam drainage systems and the prism have lost their functions, and leakage is very serious. Especially the No. 2 accessory dam has serious leakage below elevation 85 meters, the leakage area is big. In order to ensure the dam safety, the seepage-proof strengthening needs to be treated. Three kinds of methods are used for the strengthening of the dam. The first scheme is to make a 50 centimeters thick high-pressure sprayed wall to bed-rock surface, the second is to construct a 50 centimeters thick high-pressure sprayed wall to the elevation 88 meters, and the third is to establish a 30 centimeters thick concrete wall to bed-rock. The paper adopts 2-D FEM to analyse the seepage and stability of the dam for above three schemes. The reinforcement scheme of high-pressure sprayed wall to bed-rock surface is recommended. The result of this scheme provides a basis for reinforcement design and construction.关键词
