Abstract
A novel lead acid flow battery based on the Pb(Ⅱ)/Pb and PbO_2/Pb(Ⅱ) couples in aqueous methanesulfonic acid was described. The equilibrium between the Pb~(2+)/Pb and PbO_2/Pb~(2+) couples in the process of charge/discharge, the influence of concentration of Pb~(2+) and the operating environment on the equilibrium was expatiated. The effect of negative/positive supporting materials and the additives on electrodeposit of Pb and PbO_2 and battery performance is discussed.关键词
