SCWGF:A Self-Adaptive Algorithm of Adjusting Contention Window's Growth Factor for 802.11 DCF

Abstract
The performance analysis and improvement of 802.11DCF(Distributed Coordination Function) is a crucial research domain of MAC (Medium Access Control). This paper presents SCWGF( Self-adaptive algorithm of adjusting Contention Window's Growth Factor) based on 802.11 DCF.Firstly, we obtain the optimal contention window's growth factor and optimal collision occupation ratio through theoretical analysis. Self-adaptive algorithm of adjusting contention window's growth factor convergent to the optimal one was proposed. Simulation result illustrates that saturated throughput can be improved.关键词
