Effect of PEG on structure and performance of LiFePO_4/C

Abstract
LiFePO_4/C composite was synthesized via co-precipitation method with PEG as carborr source. The pyrolysis process of precursor was monitored by TG-DSC. The structure, morphology and electrochemical properties of UFePO4/C were characterized by XRD,SEM and galvanostatic charge-discharge techniques, respectively. The influence of decomposing rate and the amount of PEG on structure, morphology and electrochemical properties was studied. The optimum experimental conditions is 6 ℃/min of heating rate and n (PEG) : n (LFP)=0.5 : 1, and the discharge capacity up to 164.7 rnAh/g is obtained at 0.1 C and the loss is only 4.75% after 30 cycles.关键词
