Current hysteresis band tracking control of photovoltaic grid-connected inverter

Abstract
Based on the simulation platform of Matlab/simulink, the mathematical models and simulation modules of photovoltaic array and MPPT(maximum power point tracking) were built in this paper. The electrical characteristics of photovoltaic module was studied and the maximum power point dynamic tracking was accomplished as well. In addition, the grid-connected inverter system models with the integration of photovoltaic module and MPPT controller and the scheme of current hysteresis band control were presented. The simulation result indicates that the photovoltaic mathematical model and the algorithm of MPPT were valid. The dynamic response of grid-connected inverter which affected by climatic condition change is simulated. The result reveals that the current hysteresis band control scheme applied in the photovoltaic grid-connected inverter can improve the power quality grid, with the result of unity of power factor.关键词
