摘要

Abstract

The developing central nervous system (CNS) is highly sensitive to ionizing radiation.Varying degrees of developmental abnormalities was caused by the exposure to ionizing radiation during pregnancy.Due to the specificity of the development of CNS,the radio-sensitivity of the cells at distinct stages is different.In general,the greater exposure dose,the more significant biological effects will be determined.Based on the analysis of the data from the epidemiological investigation and animal experiment,the detrimental effects of ionizing radiation on the development of CNS and its mechanisms are reviewed.More issues are in need of further research.
