摘要

Abstract

The practical atomization process is unstable, the stability theories or hypotheses are unsuitable to explain the atomization process. In this paper, the instable disintegration process of melt during atomization process was investigated and a unstable mathematical model to explain the atomization process was established. With the mathematical model, such important parameters as diameter of columnar melt, dominant wave length, length of disintegrated stripe could be calculated. Compared to the practical water atomization process and hypothermal atomization process, the data calculated by the mathematical model are close to practical experimental data.
