Abstract
In the system of Visible Light Communication (VLC) using OFDM, we study the transmission effects in multipath fading channels. We transmit audio file and text file in multipath fading channels by 16-QAM and OFDM respectively, comparing the bit error rate (BER) between 16-QAM and OFDM. When transmitted the text file, the variation of the BER with fading coefficient and path delay value were analyzed respectively. The results showed that VLC-OFDM system in multipath fading channels can mitigate multipath effects, reduce the BER and obtain more satisfactory communication quality.关键词
