摘要

Abstract

A method with precision step gauge for measuring straightness error of coordinate measuring machine (CMM) is proposed. The step gauge is placed in different positions. According to the relation of volumetric error and geometric error, the mathematical model of straightness error is built The simulation experiment verifies its effectiveness. This method can be used for CMM calibration and for the straightness analysis of linear motion guide.
