Abstract
In this paper, we present a trace-driven parallel simulator called Sim-MSC. Sim-MSC adopts new hierarchical performance model to predicts the performance of applications on multi-core-SMP-clusters. Based on BigSim parallel simulator, we implement Sim-MSC. Experiments are carried out on a multi-core-SMP-cluster connected with InfiniBand. We use jacobi3D as benchmark program. Results show that Sim-MSC can accurately predict the performance of MPI applications on multi-core-SMP-clusters.关键词
