实时高清H.264编码中CAVLC的流式实现
A Streaming CAVLC for Real-Time HD H.264 Encoding
摘要
Abstract
CAVLC is a typical entropy coding algorithm widely applied in H.264/AVC video compression. Though it has data parallel characteristic, data dependency and unpredictable data access make CAVLC different to parallelize. This paper analyzes the characteristics of CAVLC and developes a streaming algorithm. Experiment results show that this streaming algorithm validated on STORM-1 stream processor achieves 2.02x speedup over the serial CAVLC algorithm and meets the requirement of real-time HD H.264 encoding.关键词
