A Novel Electro-Magnetic Transient Analysis Method for Distributed Parameter Transmission Lines
摘要
Abstract
According to the approach criterion, the telegraph equation of transmission lines can be approximated with the linear combination of a certain set of orthogonal basis, for example, the set of the Daubechies wavelet. With projection to the Daubechies basis, a function space relates to time variable over a given resolution is mapped, and the differential equations related to the voltage and current of transmission line are transformed to algebraic vector equations. As a result the projected equivalent models of each unit can be obtained. Then, the transients of the transmission system can be computed in the projection domain. The proposed method is validated with EMTP simulation tests.关键词
