活性炭纤维吸附水中对硝基苯酚的行为
Adsorption Behavior of p-Nitrophenol from Water onto Activated Carbon Fiber

Abstract
Effects of pH and NaCI on the adsorption of p-nitrophenol (PNP) onto activated carbon fiber (ACF) were studied;adsorption isotherms were measured at different temperatures;the thermodynamics and kinetics of the adsorption were also studied. It was found that PNP adsorption amount significantly depended on pH, with the maximum adsorption amount at pH 4. 3 ; and sodium chloride in the solution facilitated PNP adsorption on ACF. Freundlich equation was better than Langmuir equation in describing the behavior of PNP adsorption onto ACF, thus indicating the possibility of polymolecular layer adsorp-tion. The adsorption was favorable one ,and the adsorption capacity increased with decreasing tempera-ture. The adsorption was an exothermic physical and spontaneous process. The experimental data were fitted very well by the pseudo-second-order kinetic model.关键词
