Fast Frequency Estimation Algorithm Using High Order Approximations to Kernel Function and Interpolation on Fourier Coefficients
摘要
Abstract
The relationship between the approximate kernel and quantization bits is established based on the theoretical analysis.A new technique using high order approximations to kernel function with out multiplication operation is presented to improve the dynamic range for monobit frequency estimator.The algorithm includes the frequency correction by interpolation using the adjacent bin of the maximum of the real or imaginary parts of the Fourier coefficients,thus the computation cost is efficiently decreased to avoid the complex operations of the traditonal frequency correction algorithm.The algorithm is simple and easy for the hardware implemeniation.Finally,the efficiency of the algorithm is verified by theoretical analysis and simulations.关键词
