香蕉MuMADS1基因表达产物的亚细胞定位
Subcellular Localization of Expression Products of Banana MuMADS1 Gene

Abstract
To investigate the regulation of MuMADS1 genes in banana (Musa acuminate L. AAA group cv. Brazilian.) fruit development and postharvest ripening, a MADS-box gene from banana fruit was isolated. Bioinformatics analysis show that, MuMADS1 gene encoding the protein as a transcription factor may be located in the nucleus. Our previous work demonstrated that it is up-regulated in the early stage of fruit ripening and plays roles in the upstream of ethylene signaling, which is associated with flower developing, fruit developing and ripening. In order to further study its function, a plant expression vector pCAMBIA1304-MuMADS1 with a green fluorescent protein was constructed and transformed into onion epidermal cells by particle bombardment method. The result of transient expression showed that MuMADS1 gene was located in the nucleus which was in line with the characteristics of transcription factor.关键词
