摘要

Abstract

The value of the dynamic elastic modulus of concrete adopted in the anti-earthquake design of concrete dams is too low. As a result, the computed dynamic displacements and the natural periods of vibration are two large and the computed earthquake loads are two low. It is suggested to compute the dynamic elastic modulus of concrete by E_d = r_dE_s, where E_s is the instantaneous elastic modulus of concrete and r_d is a coefficient greater than 1.0, r_d≌1.15.
