Abstract
In the process of horizontal well drilling, geosteering technology is the key to ensure a smooth landing of borehole and walking horizontally a certain distance in the layer. According to the technical features of horizontal wells in Huabei Oilfield, target zone parameters such as landing point depth and layer dip were accurately predicted by combining the real-time logging data such as regional, neighborhood well, drilling time, gas surveying, sample logging with MWD/LWD parameters,. The method can also determine the landing and drill bit place in the reservoir, which can be used in the field to timely guide drilling direction, achieve an accurate landing and ensure more well tracks right in the oil layer. Field practice showed that the technology had a marked effect and was of important guiding significance to the future implementation of horizontal wells.关键词
