摘要

Abstract

Free-formaldehyde is one of the most important pollutants in indoor air, and it has attracted more and more attention for very harmful to people's health. It is important to study on synthesis of new free-formaldehyde scavenger and scavenge performance. The amphiphilic copolymer which participates of amine groups was synthesized with hydrophilic monomers acrylamide and hydrophilic monomer styrene as reactant, and redox initiator via Hofmann degradation reaction. The influence factors of the product on the capture rate of free-formaldehyde were discussed through the single factor experiments which were the effect of different mole ratios of styrene to acrylamide and the effect of different initiator dosage, and then orthogonal experiment was arranged to optimize the synthesis conditions. The results showed that the mole ratios of styrene to acrylamide was 1 : 3, and the mole ratio 9% of initiator to monomers, and acrylamide to NaClO were 1 : 1.2, was the best for capturing, the highest was up to 60.40%. The amphiphilic copolymer is non-volatile in normal temperature, relatively stable and has better capture effect, and it is a new ideal free-formaldehyde scavenger
