Evolution Characteristics of Runoff in Yellow River Basin During 500 Years

Abstract
To analyze the runoff in a long-time series is to get the knowledge of the changing characteristics of runoff in large-scale. Yellow River Basin is an area short of water resource , it is very important to know the runoff changes in long-term scale in order to make a rational use of water resource in this basin. The paper adopted the series data of 1470-1998 in Sanmenxia Station of Yellow River and used the average distance analysis, moving average analysis and Kendall trend testing approach to analyze the runoff changing trend and generated the periodical characteristics. By using Hurst Index to evaluate persistence and Pettitt approach to test abrupt change, the article revealed the runoff characteristics during 529 years and the evolution rule.关键词
