Space Target Detection Performance Analysis of Noise FMCW Radar
摘要
Abstract
Due to very high speed and very long range of space targets relative to the orbital radar, it is difficult for periodic signal radars with periodic range ambiguity and velocity ambiguity to detect them. Although there are some methods to resolve the ambigu-ity, it will increase the system complexity. An approach to detect space targets by noise frequency-modulation continuous wave (NFMCW) radar is presented. Its transmitted signal has no period and no range ambiguity, and it can detect high-speed and long range targets in principle. The detection performances of NFMCW radar are analyzed and compared with linear frequency-modula-tion continuous wave (LFMCW) radar. The simulation results show the effectiveness of NFMCW radar for detecting space targets.关键词
