Analysis and Resolutions for Over Competition in Feeder Transport Market
摘要
Abstract
This paper analyzed the over competition phenomenon in feeder transport market by means of game theory. It is pointed that main line transport companies used the vertical integration strategy of freight rate with their feeder subsidies for ensuring their volumes. It is the strategy that caused the price war in feeder transport market. This paper showed that the collusion and win-win results between feeder transport companies could be gained through the freight rate restriction policy of the government. The freight rate regulation could also reduce the vehement competition among feeder transport companies, and the feeder freight rates under the above two schemes were compared.关键词
