摘要
Abstract
The practical application of seepage force concept to the piping problem research is described. According to the limit equilibrium between seepage force and buoyant weight of soil grains, the formulas to compute piping critical gradient for various grain sizes in sandy gravels of piping soil are derived. And then they are verified by many data of piping experiments; it is shown that these formulas are reasonable and responsible.关键词
