Abstract
Energy levels along the odd-parity 5pnp and 5pns J = 1 and 2 Rydberg series of Sn I have been analyzed by multichannel quantum defect theory (MQDT). A rather good agreement between theoretical and experimental energy levels was achieved. The optimal MQDT parameters which were used to calculate the theoretical energy levels and admixture coefficients for all of these levels were obtained. Based on the calculated admixture coefficients of each channel, interchannel interactions were discussed in detail and assignments of all the levels were determined. The results are helpful to understand the characteristics of configuration interaction among odd-parity levels in Sn I.关键词
