Abstract
To probe into the characteristics and general pattern of the adverse drug reactions (ADRs) occurred in our hospital. METHODS: A total of 209 ADR cases collected in our hospital from Jan. 2004 to Jun. 2009 were analyzed statistically in respect of patients' age and sex, route of administration, drug varieties, organs or system involved and the clinical manifestation. RESULTS: Of the total 209 ADR cases, 64 kinds of drugs (10 categories) were used, with antimicrobial drugs taking the lead which caused ADR in 137 cases(65.6%), followed by traditional Chinese medicine injections in 41 cases (19.6%). 186 cases(89.0%) were induced by intravenous route and lesions of skin and its appendants were the most common presentations of the ADR, which appeared in 128 cases(55.9%) . CONCLUSION: Importance should be attached to the reporting and monitoring of ADR in the clinic to standardize clinical rational drug use and ensure medication safety.关键词
