摘要

Abstract

The smart behavior of cylinder specimen was studied using indirect tensile test. By the relationship among tension, fatigue and electrical properties, the electrical properties reverse fatigue life was deduced, and health status of self-monitoring was realized. The results show that conductive asphalt concrete is effective for strain monitoring. The electrical resistance increases reversibly with the increase of tensile strain, decreases reversibly with the decrease of tensile strain. The resistance change can be divided into three phases through fatigue process. It has response relation between resistivity and interior structure. The change of resistivity is inversely proportional to unit volume carrier concentration. The mechanism of self-monitoring is caused by the change of the number of electronic carriers.
