Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To understand roundly and better implement the related regulations of toxic medical materials in the first part of Chinese Pharmacopoeia (2010 edition), and to ensure safe and rational drug use in the clinic. METHODS: The contents of toxic medical material and decoction pieces in Chinese Pharmacopoeia (2010 edition) were classified and analyzed. RESULTS & CONCLUSION: There were a total of 83 toxic medical materials recorded in the first part of Chinese Pharmacopoeia (2010 edition). Toxicity grading, usage and dosage, contraindication in pregnancy and incompatibility of medicines possessed different characteristics. It provide evidence and guidance for the safe and rational use of drugs in the clinic, so they should be treated carefully and be enforced strictly. At the same time, the standards on toxic medical materials should be further in-depth studied.关键词
