Abstract
In this paper,one sensorless speed control system of switched reluctance motor(SRM) based on the improved simplified flux method is investigated.The conventional simplified flux based sensorless method is valid with the condition of single phase alternate conducting and current chopping control.As a result,there is coupling between the turn-off period of off-going phase and turn-on period of in-coming phase.This coupling is not good for realizing optimal efficiency or minimize torque ripple in sensorless operation.Therefore,an improved simplified flux method is proposed,in which turn-on angle can be set optionally and separate from turn-off angle.The proposed method only needs the fixed turn-off angle and current chopping control.Accordingly,speed and rotor position are estimated according to the presented method.Finally,the SRM sensorless speed control system is built and experiment results confirm the validity of the presented method.关键词
