摘要

Abstract

With the great demand for biomaterials in biomedical applications,the composites of apatite and synthetic polymers have been a hot topic for tissue repair and substitute materials research.The progress of hydroxyapatite/synthetic polymer composites based on different types of monomers is reviewed.The preparation,properties and applications of those composites mentioned in the paper include hydroxyapatite and synthetic non-degradable biomedical polymer,biodegradable biomedical polymer.The problems and prospects of these composites are also discussed.The biomaterials are designed from the molecular level with good mechanical properties,excellent bioactivity and biocompatibility.
