摘要

Abstract

The relationships among pH,dissolved oxygen and chlorophyll a in aquaculture water were discussed.Data describing the relationships among pH,dissolved oxygen(DO) and chlorophyll a in non-aquaculture water covering two decades were studied.They were supplemented by original data obtained from field experimental studies in the Panjiakou Reservoir.The results showed that when the mean concentration of chlorophyll a was higher than 10 μg/L,significant positive correlations were found among pH,DO and chlorophyll a.However,when the mean concentration of chlorophyll a was less than 10 μg/L,no obvious correlation was found between DO and chlorophyll a in waters with a high exchange rate or in heavily organically polluted natural waters.Diurnal variations were found for both pH and DO.A corresponding significant positive correlation was found between the both parameters.
